As of Jan. 1, 2016 I am not taking new orders. If you would like to be notified when my build list reopens please email me. I will be sending new guitars to my dealers as I catch up on commissions for the foreseeable future.
I am excited to be invited to take part in the Rocky Mountain Guitar Camp, August 2-6th, featuring instructors John Knowles, Richard Smith and Jim Nichols (www.rockymountainguitarcamp.org). I will be on a panel discussion with the staff discussing their signature models and do a presentation on guitar building. I will also have a table setup to evaluate and answer questions about participants guitars.
I am back from The Memphis Guitar Show and it was great to see so many friends and great guitars. The show was at the Hilton outside of Memphis, but I did make it to downtown a few nights as well as tour Graceland. Thanks to Jack, my new dealer in Shanghai, China who took the SJ-14 fret. And also thanks to Bob Singer and the staff for putting on the show, as well as Al Petteway who performed the Bashkin guitars concert demo.
Just a few days until I leave to exhibit my guitars at the Memphis Guitar Festival (http://www.memphisguitarfest.com/). There is a great builder list and the deep musical history of Memphis makes it a great location for a guitar festival. If your going to the show please stop my table and say hello. I am exhibiting a new SJ, OM and GC guitars which are for sale. Pictures are below.
I will be exhibiting guitars at the the 1st annual Salida, Colorado Guitar Expo this Sunday March 1st from 12-5.
