Podcast

I have partnered with the Fretboard Journal to create a podcast entitled Luthier on Luthier. Once a month, I conduct long-form interviews with guitar builders and musicians, learning about what inspires them, what projects are currently on the table and much more.

The podcast is available through the Fretboard Journal website, via iTunes, Libsyn, and on a variety of other networks including Stitcher.

You can now help support this podcast with two options:

  1. Make a one-time donation of any amount using the "Donate" button below.
  2. Make a donation of $25 (includes shipping to US and Canada) or more using the button below and receive a podcast t-shirt!  Just specify your shirt size and shipping address in the payment comments.  The t-shirts are normally gifts for guests on the show, but they now available to listeners as well.

We greatly appreciate all listener support!

SILENT AUCTION OF LAME HORSE UKULELE

Chris and Jeremy Jenkins of Lame Horse Guitars have generously donated one of their Cowboy Ukulele's for silent auction to support the podcast (pics below).

TO BID:  Send me an email (michael@bashkinguitars.com) with your bid.  The starting bid is $275 and the retail price for Cowboy Uke is over $700.   The minimum bid increase is $5.  The auction is open until episode 13 of the podcast posts.

CURRENT BID as of 11/9/17 = $425

The Uke up for auction has:

top - western red cedar
back and sides - Indian rosewood
neck Honduran - mahogany
fingerboard and bridge - Indian rosewood
nut and saddle - bone
binding - Honduran mahogany
tuners - Grover
pickup system - B Band
case - faux alligator with crushed velvet lining

The cowgirl on the back is easily removable if one wishes to do so. The headstock photo shows the slight discoloration in the finish of the headstock.
